Several alumni recently shared their reasons for financially supporting the annual fund of The Alpha Delta House Association. Here's what they had to say:
"Because we pledged a lifetime commitment and the returns continually exceed my expectations."

"I have attended three weddings this summer with two more to come --ALL CHI PHI weddings--21 years after graduating. I think that tells the story about why I support the annual fund."

"The friends I met in the House have become my closest friends in life. We still have reunions almost anually and have vacationed together. I'd like to ensure other young men have the same opportunity. I'd also like the House to there for me to relive my memmories when I come back for football games."
-Andy Schultz '60
"I support, and wish I could give more, but circumstances won't allow it. My most pleasant memories of the house and the people cannot be duplicated. My years there, except for the time as a single parent raising my son, were the happiest and most fulfilling years of my life. I would hope that Chi Phi continues forever and more brothers can experience and feel what I did."

"Living in the Alpha Delta House in the early 50s taught me that a group of fun-loving young men could also be responsible for maintaing a rich fraternal tradition and keeping a beautiful House well maintained. I support the "annual fund" because it is very gratifying to see a group of younger alums take on the heavy task of restoring the AD House to it's former beauty and instilling in the actives a sense fraternal tradition and responsibility for the House."
-Francis W. Finley, Jr. '54
"I support the annual fund because it is a way of giving back to an organization that I was involved during an important part of my life. Being involved in the annual fund is also a way of staying in touch with friends that I may have lost contact with over the years."
-Ed Lutz '89
"Aside from the fantastic experiences Chi Phi provided during my years at Penn State, it has given me friendships that I expect to have for the rest of my life. I'd like to see future Penn Staters have the same opportunities that I had."
