Happy New Year to everyone! We hope this year brings each and everyone of you good health, good fortune and good friendship as we begin another decade.
The new year often times brings with it resolutions to do something different. Make a change. Perhaps it's to give up smoking or simply taking better care of yourself. Maybe it's spending more time with family and friends or taking that vacation you've talked about for years. Whatever it is, we hope you stick to it and see it through. With every resolution, for it to come true, it requires commitment. Commitment to make a change. Whatever resolutions you make, we hope it includes getting re-engaged with your brothers at Chi Phi. We hope this new year is the time you MAKE A CHANGE.
It's no secret we have initiated plans to sell the house. BY NO MEANS DOES THIS MEAN WE HAVE GIVEN UP. But, because of our financial state of affairs, we have no choice but to begin this process for the sake of protecting those who have already made payment on their pledges, particularly our largest investors. To stop this process, we need to make a CHANGE. A CHANGE THAT REQUIRES COMMITMENT.
WE MUST CONTINUE TO SOLICIT THE OTHER 72% OF OUR BROTHERHOOD WHO HAVE NOT MADE A COMMITMENT TO THE CAMPAIGN. Now is the time, gentleman. This means that those of us who BELIEVE in our plan must take swift action to initiate those that have been sitting on the sidelines to get involved now. This also means that those of you who receive this e-mail message and have not joined us need to think seriously about what role Chi Phi has played in the person you are today. DON'T WAIT. Time is critical. If we can meet our metric of $1.4 MM by January 31, we have the opportunity to get back on pace towards our overall goal of $2.25 MM. We essentially have the opportunity to pull our house back from the brink of being sold. IT IS COMPLETELY IN OUR HANDS.
Here is the updated timeline/metrics:
-Stage I Goal: $1,400,000 (Deadline: January 31, 2011)
-Stage II Goal: $1,700,00 (Deadline: March 31, 2011)
-Stage III Goal: $2,000,000 (Deadline: May 31, 2011)
-Final Stage Goal: $2,250,000 (Deadline: July 31, 2011)
