Happy New Year! As we kick off 2012, I wanted to reach out to all of you and provide with some more great news.  



Four more brothers have stepped up by increasing their pledge commitments or
giving for the first time!  Please join me in thanking the following
brothers from 1957 and 1958 for hearing our call for increased support
so we can begin renovation on our home and re-engineering our
organization:

Thank
you, Craig, Willis, Ron and Frederick! Craig increased his pledge by
more than 50%!  Not only has he made a nice increase in his commitment,
but has paid off his previous pledge. Willis increased his previous
pledge
commitment by 100%! Outstanding.  Ron and Frederick step and join us for
the very first time.  This is incredible news and it speaks volumes
about their commitment and pride in our organization! A special thanks
to Andy Schultz, Sr. for his tireless efforts in sending out a
personalized note to all of the brothers from the 1955-1960 era which
assisted in producing these new commitments. 



To repeat, each pledge increase or new pledge commitment is matched by the Brockway/Meyer/Marsh camp, effectively doubling every new pledge or pledge increase!  We want to take full advantage of their matching pledge commitments up to $150,000, guys. We've only used $15,600.00 of their matching gifts so far.  We have an incredible opportunity put before us. Let's not make this a lost opportunity that can assure our financial stability.



It is extremely important that we continue to fight towards our goals of making our renovation a reality.  We need everyone's help. I urge all of you who haven't pledged but consider yourself members of our great fraternity to please join us now during this holiday season. If you have the ability to increase your previous pledge commitment by $1,000 or perhaps 10%, it would go a long way to putting us on stronger financial footing.

As you can see, we need another $78,000 in new or additional pledge commitments matched by the "challenge" to put us on firmer financial ground, folks.  It's that simple.   These pledges will fund accumulated and future operating costs to keep the house secure as well as finance costs during construction. We need these additional funds!  



Brothers who have made previous pledge commitments: please consider making an increase of either $1,000 or 10% to your previous pledge commitment.  If you haven't made a pledge commitment to date, we are counting on you!  Click here to download a pledge form. Please complete it, scan it and return it to me via e-mail. I will then forward it on to our consultants at Affinity Connection so your pledge is properly recorded.  



If half of the 325 brothers that have already pledged can find a way to increase their pledge commitments by $1,000, we will be able to increase our cash pledges by $300,000 when you combine it with the matching funds from Brockway/Meyer/Marsh.  Consider if 150 alumni make first-time commitments of just $1,000, we can increase our cash pledges by another $150,000, pushing us well over the $2MM mark and providing us the chance to retire our loans faster!  



This influx of pledge commitments would put us on much stronger financial ground so we can smoothly move forward with our plans.  We can't do this without everyone.  Join us now!

A SPECIAL NOTE TO ALL BROTHERS WHO HAVE MADE PLEDGE COMMITMENTS TO DATE:  



As we mentioned before, your original pledge payment schedule will begin January 1, 2012 whether you requested a yearly, bi-annually or quarterly payment schedule (ex. If you are paying on a quarterly basis, your next payments would be in January, April, July and October 2012).  Of course, accelerating your pledge commitment beyond what you previously agreed upon would be tremendously appreciated if you are in the position to do so.



The initial electronic pledge reminder you received from Ellen cost our campaign ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!  We want to keep providing e-mail pledge reminders--only-- simply due to the cost savings we will recognize.  Mailed pledge reminders cost $12.50 to send out per donor.  We want to be the best stewards of our collected funds so let's please do our best at working with this electronic pledge fund reminder system.  



CONSIDER THIS YOUR PLEDGE REMINDER. PLEASE MAKE YOUR FIRST PAYMENT ON JANUARY 1, 2012.



These are truly exciting times for Chi Phi, Alpha Delta and will easily be the biggest accomplishment for our chapter this century.  Don't stand idle.
