Only days before the first dance step will be taken at THON 2014, Jay Paterno paid a visit to the brothers of Chi Phi. Focusing on the concepts of responsibility and pride the brothers should feel after the successful restarting the Chi Phi Penn State chapter, Paterno shared his ideas of what it means to be part of a brotherhood like Chi Phi and emphasized that the bonds formed in this fraternity will last a lifetime – something he longed for as a Penn State student and Chi Phi wannabe.



Paterno also focused on the importance of THON and the recognition of THON as a yearlong effort that culminates in a weekend of celebration. He highly recommended that the day after THON, Chi Phi members should start thinking about how they will approach THON 2015. Every minute is worth it for these kids. Thanks, Jay!
